The Progressive Christianity Network of South Australia (PCNet SA) aims to bring together those who seek to explore and express a Christian faith relevant to the 21st century. It actively fosters the search for meaning and the development of a contemporary spirituality Goals
- To unravel the mysteries of the Bible
- To reconstruct a credible faith
- To explore a spirituality for our times
- To be inspired by the compassion of Jesus
- To promote social justice and reconciliation
- To appreciate the spiritual depths of the First Peoples
- To affirm the contributions of all faiths
- To redress our failure to care for Mother Earth

About the Adelaide West Progressive Christianity Group
The Adelaide West Progressive Christianity Group meets in the Chapel of the Adelaide West Uniting Church on the third Wednesday evening, January through November, at 7:00 p.m. for a Service of Worship, led by one of the following Moderators:Each Service will have a theme related to one or more of the Goals of Progressive Christianity In lieu of a sermon, there will be a Speaker or a group of Speakers, sometimes from within the Group and sometimes an invited Guest Speaker(s) The whole Service will have been designed by the Worship Leader in consultation with the Speaker(s) to form a consistent whole After the presentation, a Discussion Moderator will convene a Q&A and general discussion on the theme of the Service The Benediction is supposed to be given at 8:00 p.m., but often the discussion runs over time! Following the Service, there will be a light supper, kindly provided by Lesley Ashman Worshippers are asked to make a small donation of your determination towards the Group's running costs Guests are always welcome at the Progressive Christianity Services! The program of speakers and themes is determined biannually by the Program Group:
